Opera South

WELCOME TO OPERA SOUTH

Opera South, incorporating Opera Omnibus (founded in 1984), presents opera in English,
in Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex. It provides a springboard for emerging professional
singers, directors, musicians, and designers at the beginning of their careers.

Each year Opera South presents a fully staged and costumed opera with orchestra and chorus,
as well as organising concerts with young professional soloists, talks and presentations.
The events take place in a variety of attractive venues in the area.
