About the concert programme
Our Annual New Year party in January had an international flavour.
We were entertained by American baritone Marc Callahan,
who previously sang with such distinction in our February 2008 production on
The Bohemian Girl.
He was joined by Australian soprano, Kristy Swift
who was also part of the February 2008 team and Caryl Hughes,
a mezzo soprano from Wales who was a finalist in the annual Ferrier Prize competition.
They were accompanied on the piano by Nigel Foster,
well known to our regular patrons.
