Anna Hawtree was the successful bidder at
the silent auction, receiving two tickets for Glyndebourne from Mrs Carolyn Underwood
of Greathurst Interiors, Haslemere.

Concert and Dinner

116 people enjoyed champagne, canapés, concert and dinner with fine wines at the Georgian House Hotel, Haslemere.

 

During the concert, performed by internationally acclaimed accompanist Nigel Foster with singers Tom Bullard (Baritone), Julian Forbes (Tenor) and Lisa Swayne (Soprano), arias and excerpts from the following operas and musical shows were performed:

Mozart: Le nozze de Figaro

Mozart: Don Giovanni

Puccini: La bohème

Thomas: Mignon

Gounod: Romeo and Juliet

Stravinsky: The Rake's Progress
